movie night

last night was fun... i went to go see the island with amanda, jeff, charlie, sin, joey, andrew, holly, and some-girl-whose-name-starts-with-a-and-i-feel-bad-for-not-remembering. fantastic movie... i highly recommend it! only thing is i can't get my mind into "just shut up and enjoy it!" mode, so i'm sitting through it all thinkin "oh, i like the symbolism references of the costuming... and i like the stabs at abortion issues and such... and oh!what lovely social issues being brought up!" grrr. haha, it was a good movie anyways, and i think normal people would enjoy it too! wow, it was chilly in that theatre... but from what i gather, it was just me. gah. serves me right for getting rid of my minnesota layer of insulation. chilled over at buffalo wild wings... could only stay long enough to enjoy my usual diet coke with two lemons and a lime, cause of the parentals. we won't go into that. it's a big frustration, to say the least, and i'm not going into it. i miss talkin to sin and jeff... cool kids, man. we all need to hang out more often. thanks for the great night everybody! hope to do it again soon!
